Adrianna Szumanska

Junior Risk Analyst, Lender Insurance Services

Adrianna joined the INTECH Europe team in August 2022, as a Junior Risk Analyst. She is fluent in English, Polish and currently developing her German skills.

At INTECH, Adrianna is part of the Lenders Insurance Advisory team, where with her attention to detail, she is taking care of insurance renewals for various financial institutions. She is responsible for communication between clients, insurance representatives and brokers in order to meet requirements, and ensure client satisfaction.

Adrianna completed her Bachelor degree in International Relationships at the Kraków University of Economics and has years of experience in customer service, as well as product marketing on an international level.

Amina Halilović

Administrative Assistant

Amina joined the INTECH Europe team in August 2021. She is fluent in English, German, Bosnian, Italian and working towards her proficiency in Norwegian.

As an Administrative Assistant at INTECH, Amina provides administrative support to help ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of the office. With years of customer service experience, Amina supports individuals and the team through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.

Amina is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in English and American Studies at the University of Klagenfurt and afterwards hopes to continue into the Master’s program.

Carita Grandison-Johnson

Risk Analyst, Lender Insurance Services

Carita Grandison-Johnson is a Risk Analyst of the Lender Insurance Services team brining over 10 years of global experience having worked in the reinsurance and insurance industry.

She is responsible for the Loan Tracking services of several of our clients by ensuring that the evidence of insurance and renewal certificates reflect the expiring covers and working with Broker(s) in having cover deficiencies amended to reflect the lender’s insurance requirements. Carita also provides advisory services to the lender on potential risk exposures that may arise after reviewing the renewal program and designing additional insurance requirements to address the risk exposure.

Prior to joining INTECH in 2021, Carita worked with the 4th largest insurance brokerage (Arthur J Gallagher Insurance Broker) in North America while managing the insurance portfolio for the corporate clients for both their commercial and personal insurance needs.

Carita holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Technology, Jamaica West Indies, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Insurance Management (Hons) from Humber College, Ontario. Carita is also a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and is licensed by the Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO).

Chris Parham

Consultant, Lender Insurance Services

Joining the INTECH Europe team in November 2020, Chris brought with him more than 15 years experience in numerous sectors; including education, corporate and retail sales, customer success, as well as the construction and automotive industries. Prior to joining INTECH, he taught English in the public school system in Austria.

At INTECH, Chris is part of the Lenders Insurance Advisory team and is responsible for performing insurance reviews for various financial institutions and is in charge of evaluating the insurance requirements for financing to ensure compliance to lenders’ insurance requirements prior to funding of Real Estate and Construction projects in the UK and across the EU.

Chris holds bachelor degrees from Lipscomb University in both Political Science and German along with a master’s degree in Teaching Foreign Language with an emphasis in German from Middle Tennessee State University. He is fluent in both English and German.

Colette Stehli

Junior Consultant, Lender Insurance Services

Colette has been part of the INTECH Europe team since May 2022 and she is fluent in English, German and Dutch. Colette has enjoyed a variety of work in different sectors and brings organizational and administrative experience to the team.

At INTECH, Colette supports the senior members of the Lenders´ Insurance Advisory team in an administrative capacity. She helps with the evaluation of the insurance requirements prior to financing of real estate and construction projects across Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Colette obtained her Bachelor of Music at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, and enjoys being able to expand her knowledge in the insurance sector.

Daniella Vidal

Director, Operations and Business Development

Daniella Vidal is INTECH’s Marketing and Operations Director. Daniella brings to INTECH passion for organization and business development through marketing and internal management.

Daniella is responsible for developing INTECH’s industry exposure and ensuring client relationships are well nurtured and maintained. She oversees the marketing and communication initiatives of the company and advises INTECH staff on how to develop and retain client relationships in the industry. Daniella plans and develops the marketing initiatives of the company to generate corporate exposure by identifying new opportunities in the industry and communicating company achievements where applicable. She manages public relations interactions with 3rd parties to ensure INTECH’s presence in the Infrastructure and Project Finance industry is properly acknowledged and maintained

As part of her internal duties, Daniella is responsible for managing the day to day operations of INTECH. She maintains the team’s efficiency by planning and implementing processes to ensure employee satisfaction is achieved and productivity is maximized. In addition, Daniella is responsible for coordinating Infrastructure and Project Finance transactions. She organizes and controls all project activities internally to ensure workloads are distributed evenly and effectively.

Daniella has been part of the INTECH team for 10 years. She attended Wilfrid Laurier University, where she obtained a joint Honours Degree in Communication Studies and Spanish Studies. While in university, Daniella obtained the Certificado Básico de Español de los Negocios from the Cámara Oficial de Comercio e Industria de Madrid, giving her the capabilities to conduct business at a high level in both English and Spanish. She has her Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies and wishes to obtain her Project Management Designation (PMP) in the near future.

Deirdre Ryan

Coordinator, Operations

Deirdre Ryan is the Coordinator of Operations at INTECH Risk Management, bringing a passion for creativity and business development to the team.

Deirdre is responsible for the marketing initiatives of INTECH, where she contributes to the development of our core branding values across all departments of the company. She implements strategies from our client communications through to our internal company processes.

In addition to her marketing duties, Deirdre supports the operations team, collaborating with the HR and Accounting units.

Prior to joining the INTECH team, Deirdre worked in Ireland as a Marketing Executive where she developed the core knowledge of how to brand and promote a business through various forms of business development and marketing. She studied at the University of Limerick, Ireland where she obtained her BA in Business Studies and Marketing, with Entrepreneurship

Emily Hamilton

Senior Manager, Risk & Insurance Services

Emily Hamilton, Senior Manager of the Risk & Insurance Services team, brings to INTECH an extensive, cross-industrial experience in Professional Services, focused on the areas of Project Management, Risk Management, and Organizational Communications.

Emily’s background in communications as well as her expertise in Risk Management and property and casualty insurance makes her an excellent addition to our Risk & Insurance Services team. She is responsible for providing advisory services and guidance to clients on insurance and risk management matters, as well as coaching and supporting her team.

At INTECH, Emily manages the day-to-day requirements of Risk & Insurance Services clients, as well as reviews and negotiates insurance renewals, contracts, leases, and other material agreements using INTECH's standards. Emily strives to maintain pro-active working relationships with clients, lenders and solicitors by anticipating their needs and responding to questions and issues thereby ensuring the continuation of INTECH’s strong client relationships.

Prior to joining INTECH, Emily worked as a Risk Manager at The Bank of Nova Scotia in the Corporate Risk Management & Insurance department.

Emily holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Communications from the University of Ottawa, a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation from the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies and is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP). Emily is a member of the Global Risk Management Institute (GRMI), an associate member of the Risk Management Consultants of Ontario (RMCO), and a volunteer with the ORIMS Education Committee.

Fraser Roberts

Chief Executive Officer

Fraser holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, Trinity College, and a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation from the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies. He is also a licensed insurance broker through the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario and is a member of the Global Risk Management.

Fraser joined INTECH in 2005, after working as an insurance and financial analyst in the Surety and Construction Services Division of Aon Reed Stenhouse. Since then, Fraser has gained considerable experience advising Lenders on insurance matters related to a variety of transaction types, including Commercial Mortgages, Public Private Partnerships, Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities, Mergers and Acquisitions, Construction and Project Finance. He also acts as an outsourced Risk Manager to a number of prominent real estate owners and developers, where he consults on issues such as claims management, broker services, insurance program design, contractual risk transfer and alternative risk financing, among others. More recently, Fraser has also been engaged to advise companies in the Healthcare, Renewable Energy and Education sectors on insurance and risk management issues, where he has helped companies reduce their cost of risk, while also improving their ability to both manage and finance that risk.

In addition to the work he does for clients, Fraser also actively participates in the furthering of risk management education in the financial services and commercial real estate industries, where he regularly speaks at industry events and conducts private seminars for Lenders, Lawyers, Contractors and Developers.

Gordon Tulloch

Manager, Lender Insurance Services

BA, Cert CII

Gordon Tulloch, Manager of the Lender Insurance Services team, brings to INTECH strong technical knowledge of the commercial insurance market.

Gordon’s international background in commercial insurance are a great addition to our Lender Insurance Services team. He supports senior management in the provision of lender insurance advisory and due diligence services to commercial banking and commercial mortgage clients.

Gordon is responsible for identifying risk exposures inherent in a commercial transaction and designing additional insurance requirements to address the exposures. He also reviews, negotiates and critiques insurance and indemnity provisions in contracts, including leases, construction contracts and other material agreements on behalf of clients.

Prior to joining INTECH, Gordon worked in Scotland, offering both insurance and risk management advice. He worked as an Insurance Administrative Assistant, where he quickly progressed to Risk Analyst.

Gordon holds a BA in Risk Management, a Certificate of Insurance from Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in the U.K, and is a member of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

Heather Chatham

Director, Lender Insurance Services

Heather Chatham, Senior Manager of the Lenders Insurance Services team, brings to INTECH over 25 years of industry experience primarily as a commercial insurance broker.

Heather's technical understanding of commercial insurance programs and the insurance
marketplace are a great asset to INTECH’s Lenders Insurance Services division. She provides insurance due diligence and advisory services to commercial banking clients in both Canada and the United States. Heather is responsible for managing large lender accounts. Heather reviews and negotiates contractual insurance requirements, evaluates the borrower’s insurance programs and identifies gaps in coverage to advise clients through commercial mortgage transactions.

Prior to joining INTECH, Heather worked at Thistle Underwriting, a division of JLT, as Team Lead for Commercial Property and Casualty business. Prior to that, Heather worked for over 12 years at Jones Brown where she managed the commercial portfolio in a management position with 4 Commercial Account Managers which included US and Canadian business.  Heather was responsible for overseeing the profitability of the department, claims, and retention.  Prior to that, Heather held Commercial Account positions with Stevenson & Hunt, BF Lorenzetti and Sinclair-Cockburn.

Heather is licenced by Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) in Ontario, AIC in Alberta and ICBC in British Columbia. She is currently working towards her Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation.

Kate Prendergast

Consultant, Major Projects

Kate Prendergast, Consultant joined the INTECH Europe team in March 2018. She is fluent in English, Gaelic and has working knowledge of German. Kate brings years of experience in customer service to the team.

At INTECH, Kate is part of the Major Projects team and is responsible for assisting senior management with the administration of large accounts, the review of initial insurance policies and communicating with clients, insurance representatives and brokers to ensure that insurance needs are being met.

Kate’s background in customer service and studies in both Austria and Ireland of International Commerce make her a great addition to the team. She provides support to senior consultants on P3 projects including those in the energy and infrastructure sector and in the review of contracts, construction agreements and leases.

Kelly Parker

Director, Construction and Infrastructure

Kelly Parker brings more than 30 years of experience in the construction insurance and surety industry to her clients. She has served the industry as an underwriter, broker and client executive and has been involved in a wide range of construction association and education activities.

Kelly has advised Owners, Lenders and Contractors on managing the risks associated with complex construction and infrastructure projects including Confederation Bridge, Canada’s first P3 project, along with other mass transit, highway and social infrastructure projects. She has also developed innovative solutions to help clients and projects become more successful.

A past Director of the Toronto Construction Association, the Construction Financial Management Association and the Canadian Construction Association, Kelly has chaired numerous committees, spoken at industry events, and written articles on matters in relation to construction insurance/surety.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and is a licensed insurance broker through the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario.

Lisa Speirs

Senior Vice President

B.A, CRM

Lisa is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (B.A.). She is licensed by the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario and holds a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation. Lisa conducts seminars in Canada for INTECH clients on Insurance and Indemnification Clauses in leases and other contracts.

Lisa brings over 30 years of expertise in the Insurance industry to INTECH. Her current consulting focuses on the analysis of insurance clauses in credit agreements and/or trust indentures; lease agreements; construction and/or management contracts; and other material contracts relative to Real Estate transactions. She assists in the drafting of insurance and indemnification language in contracts, review of insurance coverage and policy wordings, special risks analysis (including but not limited to environmental, aviation and nuclear risks) and providing advice and/or consulting services on various general insurance matters. Lisa provides insurance consulting services on behalf of Lenders for various Private Public Partnerships (PPP) projects in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec.

Prior to joining INTECH in 1994, Lisa worked as Assistant Risk Manager and Risk Manager for two major real estate companies based in Toronto. For over 18 years, Lisa’s main focus has been to provide insurance consulting services on behalf of Lenders and Owners/Developers for Canadian and U.S. Real Estate transactions. These included operational and construction risks for vacant land, sports stadiums and power production facilities.

Luis Vidal

Risk Consultant, Lender Insurance Services

Luis Vidal is one of our Risk Consultants in the Lenders Insurance Services team. He brings over 25 years of industry experience handling insurance programs for profit and non-for-profit organizations in local and international markets.

At INTECH, Luis provides insurance due diligence and advisory services to commercial lenders in both Canada and the United States. He reviews and negotiates contractual insurance requirements, evaluates the borrower’s insurance programs, and identifies gaps in coverage to advise clients through commercial mortgage transactions.

Prior to joining INTECH, Luis worked in the Mining, Power, and Utilities division of Marsh Canada. He has extensive experience working in the mining industry; having reviewed and placed multinational mining insurance programs for underground and open pit exposures and dealing with local legislation, taxation, and insurance companies’ capacities. Prior to his transition to the Mining, Power, and Utilities department, Luis worked in the Healthcare and Life Sciences at Marsh Canada and at HIROC, the largest Health Reciprocal in Canada.

Luis is licensed by Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) in Ontario.

Melbourne Ma

Risk Consultant, Tracking, Lender Insurance Services

Melbourne Ma is a Risk Consultant of the Lender Insurance Services team bringing several years of experience in Commercial Insurance.

At INTECH, Melbourne connects the interests of commercial banking clients with their borrower's insurance program to ensure deficiencies are addressed as per their contractual insurance obligations. Additionally, he advises on potential risk exposures that may arise and triages renewal commitments.

Prior to joining INTECH in 2022, he worked on the brokering side of the industry at HUB International and BrokerTeam Insurance in their Complex Risks and Commercial practices respectively.

Melbourne graduated from the University of Toronto (B.A.) and is licensed by the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO).

Nadia Alizadeh

Senior Risk Analyst, Major Projects

Nadia joined the INTECH Europe team in September 2022, having relocated from her home country Iran, where she gained extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining INTECH, Nadia has worked as a Property and Casualty Insurance Deputy Manager and her main duty was analyzing risks and preparing reports that detail risk assessment in Marine and Aviation departments.

At INTECH, Nadia is a part of the Major Projects team, and her main responsibility is to identify and analyze the potential risks threatening the projects and ensuring appropriate insurance coverage for constructional and operational projects.

Nadia has already obtained her Bachelor and Master’s degree in economics and is graduating to obtain her double Master’s degree in economics from the University of Florence, Italy.

Nicholas Mueller

Junior Risk Analyst, Risk and Insurance Services

Nicholas Mueller is a Junior Risk Analyst with the Risk and Insurance Services (RIS) division and brings a keen eye for attention to detail to the INTECH team.

Nicholas aids clients with their risk and insurance needs. As a Junior Risk Analyst, Nicholas is responsible for ensuring the RIS team has all the necessary information and tools required to advise clients in an accurate and effective manner. Nicholas plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the RIS team by providing administrative support on client accounts.

In Nicholas’s previous role with INTECH, he was responsible for the administration and tracking of Infrastructure and Project Finance transactions. Nicholas also focused on the operations and IT systems of INTECH, ensuring that INTECH could operate effectively and efficiently by implementing IT processes.

Nicholas joined the INTECH team in the beginning of 2021. Prior to joining INTECH, Nicholas attended Wilfrid Laurier University where he obtained his degree in Economics and Finance. While attending university, Nicholas was heavily involved in the school community as a student representative for both the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics Council and the Economics Department Council. Furthermore, Nicholas also held a Vice-President position for the Laurier Economics Club in his final year of studies. Nicholas is currently working towards obtaining his CFA and CRM designations.

Ning Luo

Risk Management Consultant, Lender Insurance Services

B.A., CAAE-DESS, CRM, CIP, RIBO

Ning holds a B.A. from China Youth University for Political Science and a diploma in Mastery of Business Administration (Certificat d’aptitude à l’administration des entreprises; CAAE-DESS) from IAE Poitier University (France). She is a licensed Insurance Broker under the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario, a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and holds a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation. Ning speaks English, French, Mandarin and Cantonese and is involved in Chinese Market research, communication and development.

Ning joined INTECH Risk Management as Risk Management Consultant in 2001. She currently performs insurance reviews for a number of large financial institutions and is in charge of evaluating the insurance requirements for financing in order to ensure compliance to lenders’ insurance requirements prior to funding.  Ning has developed expertise in Mid-Marketing financing (small, medium, large size loans transaction), CMBS, Conventional and Mezzanine Lending. She also has experience providing insurance services in Construction, Retail and Hotels.

Prior to joining INTECH, Ning worked at Toronto Hydro as a Risk Control Assistant. Her focus was on upgrading pole inspection systems through Visual Basic and Access; pole inspection system database administration; and assisting the Loss Control Supervisor in updating and organizing aspects of Safety Control.

Sarah Roberts

President

B.A. Hons, CRM, MBA Global Practice Leader – PPP and Project Finance

Sarah holds a B.A. Hons from the University of Toronto and a MBA from Norwich University. She is a a member of the Risk Management Consultants of Ontario (RMCO) and a member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society where she earned her Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, and a member of the Global Risk Management Institute. Sarah is fluent in English and German and is able to work in French. Sarah frequently speaks at a number of educational seminars & conferences for the Real Estate industry such as the Canadian Hotels Conference, First Nations Energy Conference, and seminars for several large banking, infrastructure, property owner and developer clients in North America and Europe. She is also a lecturer in Risk Management at the Technical University of Vienna’s Master’s Program for Real Estate Management.

Sarah joined INTECH in 2001 and has been involved in over 60 Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects including roads, bridges, tunnels, other civil works, hospitals &, schools, courthouses and other major publicly funded projects.  Sarah manages INTECH’s Global P3 and Project Finance Practice. She also has extensive experience in energy projects including renewable energy. Sarah also works with clients in Mid-Market Loans (up to €100 million) and Large Loans (over €100 million); CMBS, Conventional and Mezzanine lending and European portfolio lending. She is active in Risk Management for Real Estate portfolios, Commercial Leases, Specialty Risks including Directors and Officers, Environmental Liability and Professional Liabilityand Political Risks. In 2005 Sarah transferred to Vienna, Austria to open INTECH’s European office to deal with the growing business out of the EU, and EEC.

Sarah began her career working for one of the world’s largest Insurance Brokers where she gained significant experience in Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance for multifamily residential and non-profit Real Estate. Sarah also has  experience in designing, implementing and managing insurance programs for large property owners / property managers, with a focus on loss control, risk transfer and loss prevention.

Scott Badali

Manager, Risk & Insurance Services

RIBO

Scott Badali, Senior Risk Analyst and Manager of the Risk and Insurance Services team, brings to INTECH a solid background in real estate and construction insurance.

Scott provides our Real Estate and Construction clients with insurance and risk management services. He is responsible for reviewing and analyzing insurance policies, proposals and quotes to identify discrepancies, provide explanations, recommendations and prepare reports on the findings.

Scott engages with insurance brokers on a daily basis with respect to the renewal process and ongoing account administration and assists with the development, analysis, and responses to Request For Proposals (“RFPs”).

Prior to joining INTECH, Scott worked at Aon Risk Solutions, where he started as a Process Analyst in Client Support Services, moving to Account Coordinator in the Real Estate division and then to the Construction Services group.

Shauna O’Connell

Junior Risk Analyst

Shauna O’Connell, Junior Risk Analyst, brings a keen interest in the insurance and risk management industry and contributes a strong level of organization to the INTECH team.

Shauna is responsible for the administration and tracking of Major Project Finance transactions. She participates in the drafting of insurance reports and follows major project delivery timelines to ensure organization is maintained throughout the project’s duration. Shauna also provides assistance to INTECH's Lender Insurance Services team and Insurance Tracking Department.

Prior to joining the INTECH team this year, Shauna worked in Ireland offering both personal and commercial insurance advice to business owners across the country. Shauna holds a BA in Insurance, Risk Management and German from University of Limerick (Ireland), as well as her CIP designation from the Insurance Institute of Ireland.

Stefan Vospernik

Vice President

CRM, GRMI

Stefan obtained his Ausbildung zun Versicherungsmakler (broker’s license) in Austria, his CRM from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Global Risk Management Institute, Inc. (GRMI). He is fluent in English and German, working with European countries such as Austria, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. Additionally, Stefan has several years working with North American clients in Canada and the United States.

Mr. Vospernik joined INTECH in 2007 and has experience dealing with financial loans and all types Real Estate transactions, including the construction and operating of office buildings, shopping centers/plazas, multi-family residential complexes and multi-use luxury developments. Stefan is a member of INTECH’s PPP/PFI team and has been involved in many PPP transactions, including hospitals, roads, bridges, tunnels and other Public Financing Projects. He is also an active member in the Risk Management for Real Estate portfolios, Commercial Leases and Specialty Risks.

Sylvia Lee

Risk Consultant, Lender Insurance Services

Sylvia Lee is a Risk Consultant working in the Lenders Insurance Services Team. Sylvia brings over 25 years of insurance industry experience to INTECH.

Sylvia’s role at INTECH is to provide insurance due diligence and advisory services to commercial banking clients in both Canada and the United States. She reviews and negotiates contractual insurance requirements, evaluates the borrower’s insurance programs, and identifies gaps in coverage to advise clients through commercial mortgage transactions.

Prior to joining INTECH, she worked at Arthur J. Gallagher Canada as a Client Manager in the Commercial Lines Department – responsible for servicing, maintaining, and generating growth of a Commercial Lines book of business including accounts receivables. Prior to AJG, Sylvia worked at Enterprise Canada Insurance Services Limited as a Commercial Lines Service Representative. Sylvia has also previously worked as an Account Manager in a Personal Lines Department and as a Claims Adjuster for an Insurance Company.

Sylvia is a licenced insurance broker through the Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO). She has completed her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation through Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario and The Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation through The Insurance Institute of Canada.

Timothy J. Lang

Director, Risk & Insurance Services

Tim started his insurance career shortly after obtaining his Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Kansas. Tim is a licensed broker in Austria and has held an active broking license in Hong Kong.  He is a member of the local chamber of commerce (Wirschaftskammerösterreich) and is involved in several social networks in Vienna including founding the English Speaking Group in the Austrian Alpine Federation,

Tim joined INTECH in 2015, bringing with him over 20 years of commercial client management and broking experience in direct insurance and reinsurance. As part of the Lenders’ Insurance Services team, his role centers on relationship management, client service and business development for this division of INTECH. As a Director of Risk & Insurance Services, Tim focuses on providing INTECH’s wide range of services to clients outside of North America, including the review of contractual insurance requirements between entities involved the loan agreement process; facilitating communication between various stakeholders and suppliers of information; and management of the client facing team based in Austria.

Prior to joining INTECH, Tim was the Head of Co and Reinsurance at Zurich Insurance Company in Vienna. During his time at Zurich, he was responsible for the analysis and implementation of reinsurance treaty detachments as well as the administration and management of reinsurance and coinsurance contracts. He’s also worked as a Client Executive for Aon Jauch & Hübner, an Insurance Specialist at Greco International AG, and as a Client Executive for Marsh Austria GmbH. At Marsh, Tim held the position of Eastern European Coordinator, servicing a large petrochemical group based in the UK prior to relocating to Marsh Hong Kong. While in Hong Kong, he was responsible for retaining and expanding existing client relationships.

Tjaša Žmitek

Risk Analyst, Lender Insurance Services

Tjaša joined the INTECH Europe team in January 2015 after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Graz University specializing in English Studies. She is fluent in Slovenian, German and English, with working knowledge in Spanish and Italian. Tjaša recently completed her CII Foundations exams at the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in the United Kingdom and is currently working towards her insurance broker license in Austria.

At INTECH, Tjaša is part of the Lenders’ Insurance Advisory team, assisting senior management with the administration of large accounts. Moreover, Tjaša supports senior consultants in the review and negotiation of contracts, including leases and construction agreements on behalf of Real Estate, Construction and P3 clients, including those in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Moreover, Tjaša is responsible for all project administration and coordination which involves meeting all deliverables required by INTECH’s clients.

Tyler Townsend

Managing Director, Head of Risk & Insurance Services

Tyler Townsend, Managing Director and Head of Risk & Insurance Services, brings to INTECH a deep understanding of the insurance industry and insurance products.

As the Managing Director of Risk & Insurance Services, Tyler is responsible for managing the day-to-day requirements of Risk & Insurance Services clients. Tyler actively contributes in the identification and assessment of new outsourced risk management opportunities within the Real Estate and Construction industries.

Tyler’s deep understanding of the insurance market and insurance products, strong relationships with the insurance and real estate industry and commitment to customer service continues to impress INTECH clients, and will significantly contribute to the new business development strategies and growth targets of the department.

Prior to joining INTECH, Tyler worked at Aon Risk Solutions as an Account Executive within their Strategic Risk Advisory team. He was responsible for the day-to-day management of key Real Estate and Construction accounts while also responsible for identifying, developing and managing their Risk and Insurance solutions. Previous to this role, Tyler acted as both an Associate Account Executive and Account Coordinator within Aon’s Real Estate Practice.

Tyler has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Carleton University, where he specialized in Business Law, is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and a Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO).

Vijayata Bakshi

Risk Analyst, Lender Insurance Services

Vijayata joined INTECH in August 2022 and brought with her more than 12 years of insurance experience. She has vast experience of working in diversified insurance markets ranging from South East Asia, India, Europe and Americas in sales, underwriting and operations roles.

At INTECH she is a part of the Lenders Insurance Advisory team and works mainly on the UK portfolio. She started her insurance journey as a Senior Process Specialist and then worked her way upwards to become an Assistant Underwriter in the Fine Art and Specie sector. Vijayata was also responsible for retention and expansion of the portfolio in the South East Asian and Australian sub-continent.

She holds a Bachelors of Commerce (Honors) with distinction from the University of Delhi and is currently completing her ACII qualifications. Vijayata is fluent in English and Hindi and is working on her German language acquisition.
