Our Founder, Rory Roberts, was trained as a Lloyd’s insurance broker in Africa and England.

In 1968 he moved to Canada and became the insurance risk manager for the Bronfman family in Montréal, for their Fairview Corporation interests, and a myriad of other commercial interests.

In 1976 he identified a niche that was being underserved, in that Lenders were not receiving impartial insurance risk management advice when making commercial real estate loans.

He took this opportunity and started INTECH. 

In 2007, In Tech Risk Management GMBH was formed to deal with the increasing demand from our European and Middle Eastern clients.  Positioned at the border between Eastern and Western Europe, INTECH Europe serves our clients dealing in EU, CEE, and Middle Eastern business.

This was followed by the formation of In Tech Risk Managment Peru S.A.C. in 2010.  Operating out of Lima, Peru, INTECH Latin America serves our clients needs throughout Central and South America.  

With offices now in Canada, the United States, Peru and Austria, INTECH has accumulated some of the most seasoned risk management professionals in the industry.  Their expertise and service philosophy is unparalleled.
